The Anatomy of a Failed Activist: Okai’s Desperate Attempts
To His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and Dr. Hajia Onumoko, Accountant General of Kogi State:
We, the Governor Ododo Media Volunteers, urge you to disregard the recent criticisms made by Usman Okai. Okai, a self-proclaimed activist, has been spreading fake news and making unsubstantiated allegations against your administration, particularly targeting Dr. Hajia Habibat Onumoko, the State Accountant General.
Okai’s actions are driven by his notorious history of bigotry and scapegoating. His sole aim is to maintain his relevance and lifestyle by creating divisions and spreading misinformation. We believe it’s essential to expose his true character and intentions.
A closer examination of Okai’s track record reveals a consistent pattern of failure. His inability to lead and inspire confidence in his peers and community is evident in his:
- Failed Election Bid for Director of Social: During his ND program at Idah Polytechnic, Okai contested for the position of Director of Social (Account department) but was defeated due to his lack of a clear agenda and uninspiring leadership.
- Resounding Defeat in the House of Representatives Election: Okai’s attempt to represent his people in the House of Representatives ended in a humiliating defeat. His lack of charisma, leadership skills, and genuine connection with his community made him an unattractive candidate.
In light of these facts, it’s clear that Okai lacks the credibility and integrity to criticize respected individuals like Dr. Hajia Onumoko. His allegations are baseless, and his actions are driven by a desperate attempt to remain relevant.
We challenge Okai to provide evidence of any successful leadership position he has held or any notable achievement outside bigotry and scapegoating. We are confident that he will fail to do so, as his history is marred by failure and ineptitude.
In conclusion, we urge the Accountant General and the entire Kogites to disregard Okai’s criticisms and focus on the progress and development of Kogi State. We will continue to support and promote your administration’s efforts to improve the lives of Kogi State citizens.
We strongly advise Usman Okai to reassess his priorities and cultivate a more constructive lifestyle, one that is not built on the promotion of falsehoods. As a self-proclaimed activist, he has unfortunately become synonymous with spreading misinformation, earning him the dubious distinction of a misinformation advocate. We urge him to think critically and seek a more positive path, one that contributes to the greater good of society. This consistent cried wolf has set him apart from genuine activism.
Furthermore, we will continue to monitor Okai’s activities and respond accordingly to protect the reputation of your administration and the good people of Kogi State particularly those whose interest align with good governance.
Signed
Adaava Abdallah
President, Governor Ododo Media Volunteers
