Okehi APC Stakeholders lead the entrant to the Governor
The political stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Okehi LGA under the leadership of Kogi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Honourable Momodu Salami Deedat Ozigi has today led Honourable Abubakar Suberu Adagu (Danguruma) to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.The visit by the stakeholders mark the final phase of the defection of Honourable Danguruma who is the former chairman of Okehi LGA and lead several other former opposition leaders in the area to the ruling party.
Honourable Danguruma noted that his movement to the APC and his teeming supporters was born out of genuine desire to deepen the unity, progress and infrastructural development in his local government by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo who he described as the most humane leader in recent history. While appreciating many APC leaders who have made it possible for him to defect to the party, the former Okehi LGA boss specifically eulogized Kogi State Auditor -General for Local Government, Honourable Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege popularly known as Fancy for being a true grassroots leader whose heart is flowing with milk of human kindness.
Hon Danguruma commended the unique traits of Kogi State Governor, noting that his heart of forgiveness to people despite being offended has endeared him to many people even within opposition parties in Kogi State. He consequently pledged unalloyed loyalty to the present administration which he described as the most workers friendly in the history of Kogi State.
Other stakeholders present at the meeting were the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Honourable Sanni Egidi Abdulrahim and Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon Ali Bello.
